The reel accepts monofilament, fluorocarbon and braided lines and pairs with standard spinning rods for a wide range of techniques.

Multiple gear ratios and spool sizes let anglers tailor retrieve speed and line capacity to their technique—available ratios include 4.5:1, 4.8:1 and 5.0:1 depending on model. Okuma’s support network and common spare spools make it easy to service or upgrade your Safyre over time.
